There were a good range of speakers which I found really inspiring for different reasons.

ALEXANDRA DESCHAMPS-SONSINO, co-founder of Tinker London talked about her work with the arduino and rapid prototyping and using the manufacturers you have on your doorstep. I liked her fast paced presentation where she seemed to want to tell everybody to just go and do it! Which I intend to!! She is an ‘interaction designer’, and can also be found at Design swarm, and RIG London.

EVA RUCKI, co-founder of Troika, was also incredibly inspirational. I think I am drawn to the women in this industry of making and tinkering and playing and crafting as their stories intrigue me a lot more! Troika are responsible for the Cloud at Terminal 5, and the Thixotropes that were part of an installation at Selfridges.
